Yousign, a French start-up specializing in electronic signatures, has just raised 500,000 euros from Eric Chevalier (founder of Alsyon Technologies) and Bpifrance. This is the company’s first fundraiser.
Founded in 2013, Yousign develops an electronic signature solution for tablet, smartphone and desktop computer. The user indicates the PDF documents he wishes to have signed and then provides the contact details (surnames, first names, e-mail addresses, etc.) of the recipients who will be invited to sign them. The platform also allows files to be archived.
With this solution, the company claims major accounts among its customers, including Auchan, Sellsy and Axa. To get paid, Yousign sells “packs” including a certain volume of electronic signatures.
“When Yousign was created, with Antoine (Louiset cofounder and CTO) we made the bet of setting up our own certification authority rather than going through a third party. We wanted to offer a global electronic signature service that was simpler than the existing solutions on the market, today it is done, but we want to go much further and this lifting gives us the opportunity ”, declares Luc Pallavidino, CEO and co-founder of Yousign.
The objectives of the Start-up
At the end of this round table, Yousign intends to finance new recruitments for its technical services and customer support. It also plans to finance the development of its solution, a new version due to be available this year.
