The seventh edition of BeMyApp took place this weekend at digital Isart. This was dedicated to WebApps and was intended to promote the evolution of applications towards HTML5. This last edition allowed the development of 5 application projects. Two were awarded:

Weekend BeMyApp Metrorun game app wins jury prize

  • Metrorun, the only game application developed during the BeMyApp, won the jury prize, won over by its realization and its addictive potential. The concept is simple: you are in the metro and have to run as fast as possible to prevent the doors from closing on your nose. As agreed, the members of the Metrorun team received 5,000 €, offered by Orange to finalize their project.
  • The application EstumUp for its part, won the Audience Award hands down. This is a Crowguesssing application. So when you run it you can answer questions like, “How soon will we have a woman president in France?” Or “How many rich people are there on earth?” Or “How many times is this article going to be retweeted?” In short, you can estimate anything and everything. The interest is then to see if you are close to the average and even the estimates of the others.

During this weekend, 3 other application projects were also born: Debt thinker, Taxi-co or Pause-Minute.

The WeekEnds BeMyApp aim to connect skills that until now had few opportunities to meet: creatives, developers and graphic designers to create mobile applications in 48 hours.
