by bold-lichterman

Following the negotiations initiated with Etisalat this summer, Vivendi has just signed the sale of its shares in the Moroccan telecom operator with the Emirati group for 3.9 billion euros, plus 310 million euros in dividends for 2012. This acquisition allows Etisalat to extend its scope of activity, which now reaches around fifteen countries and 141 million customers. The agreement must be validated by the Moroccan regulatory authority.
