by bold-lichterman

The video game publisher announced a net loss of more than 62 million euros in the first half, or double compared to the same period last year.

The loss explained by the group results from an increase in its R&D expenses which took 47.4% of turnover. The group also evokes the postponement of projects, such as the games “Watch Dogs” and “The Crew”, a shortfall of 400 million euros.

In its forecasts, Ubisoft forecasts an expected turnover of between 995 million and 1.045 billion euros, and an operating loss of between 40 and 70 million euros.
