Three years after Deezer, the social network Viadeo will benefit from Orange’s customer base to boost its Premium offer.
Orange and Viadeo have just entered into a partnership, which will allow Orange fixed and mobile customers (including Sosh) to benefit from free access to the Premium version of the social network for two months. At the end of this trial period, they will be able to subscribe to the service at an advantageous price (the Premium version of Viadeo currently costs 14.90 euros per month). Customers will be able to take advantage of this new offer from August 21, 2013.
Viadeo currently has 50 million members worldwide, including 7 million in France. The contribution of Orange customers should allow the social network to considerably expand its Premium user base, which today represents 50% of its turnover.
For Orange, this partnership is in line with the one established with Deezer in 2010, which allowed Orange customers to access Deezer Premium on computers and mobile phones at a preferential rate.
