Urban security in SaaS: Nantes-based Edicia raises 1.5 million euros

Edicia, specializing in publishing 100% internet urban security software, announced on Thursday that it had raised 1.5 million euros from Newfund, a development capital fund.

With more than 450 customers including Boulognes-Billancourt, Grand Paris Seine Ouest and Vinci Park, the company offers data collection solutions with its police software, citizen information, the Internet and social networks in order, according to its say, “to secure the citizen and ensure the protection of their heritage”.

“In a context where elected officials, the State and large companies are increasingly asked to protect citizens in the public space, Edicia offers effective and collaborative tools, recognized as such by more than 450 customers already, security actors department ”comments Charles-Antoine Morand, partner at Newfund.

With a turnover of 2 million euros, the company founded in 2003 and based in Nantes wishes to export its urban security solutions and “become the European leader in its specialty” specifies Vincent Loubert, President of Edicia.
