Ubisoft: + 55.8% revenue in the third quarter

Ubisoft has published revenue for the third quarter of its fiscal year 2014-2015 up 55.8% over one year, to 809.7 million euros. With such a level, the company sees its turnover over the first nine months of the year jump to 1,293.9 million euros, an increase of 59.2% in one year.

“In 2014, Ubisoft brought gamers the most diverse line-up in the industry, with titles like Assassin’s Creed Unity, Child of Light, Far cry 4, Just Dance 2015, The Crew, Trials Fusion and Frontier Trials, Valiant Hearts and Watch Dogs. This unique variety was also recognized for its overall quality throughout the year. It allows us to achieve a third fiscal quarter well above expectations and to wait for a generation of free cash flow record for the year ”declared Yves Guillemot, CEO of Ubisoft.

Another phenomenon, the rise of digital in the group’s turnover. Revenues from the “digital segment” increased by 120.3% over the first nine months of the year, to 274.1 million euros, and now represents 21.2% of sales, compared to 15, 3% a year earlier. “Ubisoft is capitalizing today on the investments made for several years to develop its creative force, its marketing impact and its digital footprint” according to Mr. Guillemot.

In the end, for the entire 2014-2015 fiscal year, Ubisoft expects sales of 1.44 billion euros for an operating profit (non-IFRS) of around 165 million euros.
