Adok, 1 million euros to transform all surfaces into touch screens. With this round of funding, the company wants to move on to the industrialization phase of its product.
Why this is important: The company has devised a solution to overcome the constraints of a touch screen. Rather than creating yet another screen, which would face competition from Microsoft, Google and Apple, Adok made the bet to make any surface touch-sensitive. To succeed in this magic trick, the start-up gave birth to a tactile projector, like a connected overhead projector. Beyond breathing new life into meetings, this technology opens up possibilities for a multitude of sectors, including the automotive industry, to transform the car into a place of entertainment, public transport, to simplify the daily life of users, real estate, to facilitate the design of an apartment, or even sport, with connected stadiums that would offer an enriched experience to supporters.
