The French digital services group Open has just acquired the digital communication agency La Netscouade. On the occasion of this operation, Benoît Thieulin, co-founder and director of La Netscouade, is appointed innovation director of the Open group. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Theacquisition of La Netscouade is part of the 2020 Strategic Plan, announced last November by Open. This roadmap provided in particular for the group to enter the digital communication market to become a major player in the digital services sector. This is now done with the takeover of La Netscouade. “The acquisition of La Netscouade is a tremendous asset, fully in line with our strategy and our desire to become a leader in digital services.», Reacted Guy Mamou-Mani and Frédéric Sebag, co-presidents of Open, on the sidelines of this announcement.
This operation comes in addition to the acquisitions of Lateos / Kynapse, a digital player specializing in big data and e-commerce, and MCO Finance, a publisher of credit management and crowdfunding software. The multiplication of Open’s financial operations aims to accelerate its growth to quintuple its digital turnover by 2020, to 500 million euros.
