Chat with coaches on iConfident
The application iConfident, created by Angélique Grimberg, allows you to chat live with a team of coaches. The goal? become your pocket advisor by listening to you, advising you, but also by directing you to dedicated professionals.
iConfident is aimed in particular at Generation Y, for whom it is often easier to express themselves behind a screen. The application is free but the “chat” module with professionals is chargeable. Open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to midnight, it works in the form of credits: € 1.79 for one question / answer, € 3.59 for 2 questions / answers, etc.
iConfident is available for free on ios.
Scrollshow, panoramic presentation tool for iPad
Developed by the French studio Plimse, Scrollshow is an iPad application that allows you to create PowerPoint-type presentations, on a panoramic and unlimited screen, and no longer screen by screen. The texts, graphics and images thus move on a horizontal axis at different speeds following the scrolling, and the transitions no longer exist.
Scrollshow, which offers around twenty presentation themes, is dedicated to both personal and professional use. It is available on the App Store for € 3.59.
Zewall, the future of real-time video?
Created in September 2011 by Orange labs, Le Télégramme de Brest, Télécom Bretagne, Nexcom, Saooti, ST Ericson and Niji, the Zewall project makes it possible to reproduce a video in real time, from a smartphone to a web portal. Currently at the test stage in the city of Brest, it relies on the 4G network and on the HTML5 format, and operates via a dedicated smartphone application.
Zewall targets social networks, news sites and commercial sites. It has a budget of nearly 3.5 million euros and should be presented at the next Mobile World Congress in Barcelona (February 25-28, 2013). While the project needs further refinement, it should be finalized and open to the general public by the end of 2013.
Zewall won first prize in the “Loading the future” Trophies from the Images et Réseaux competitiveness cluster, which was held on October 25 in Nantes.
