Gala.fr launches its iPhone application
After launching an iPad application, the women’s magazine Gala now offers an application optimized for iPhone. It allows you to follow the latest news from stars, fashion-beauty trends and to discover behind the scenes of the most select celebrity evenings.
TweetAWine, social gaming application around wine
The site TweetAWine just launched its iPhone application. This covers the main functionalities of the site, namely: drafting of tasting, challenges, ranking and badges. The application, presented as a social game around wine, also allows users to have their own “Wine Critic” page, grouping together: all of their tastings, their points and badges won and details of their various rankings. TweetAwine on iPhone is available in 5 languages and offers an “offline” mode. While waiting for the Android and iPad versions by the end of June, a webapp is available.
Yahoo! launches a browser for iPhone and iPad
Yahoo! just launched Axis, a new iPhone application, which presents itself as both a web browser and a search tool. Developed in HTML5, the browser is available on iPhone and iPad. On the menu: sharing on social networks, favorites tab and synchronization system with all Apple devices. Axis is currently only available on the US version of the AppStore. An Android version should also be released soon.
Bestofphotos, the Facebook application that automatically creates your photo album
Bestofphotos is a new Facebook application that allows you to quickly create a photo album from a Facebook profile by automatically integrating the photos of the person in question and the comments of their friends. Emoscale analyzes the emotions of consumers online
The start-up ObviousIdea, in partnership with an Epitech student, recently developed a new software dedicated to analyzing a consumer’s emotions vis-à-vis a campaign. Baptized EmoScale, it displays the curve of emotions such as engagement, frustration, excitement. Real-time analysis would thus make it possible to validate or design a message that is easier to understand and remember for consumers. Launched in private beta, Emoscale works with a very flattering headset, developed with the support of IBM.
