Etsy launches its mobile application in France
The site Etsy, specializing in the sale of handmade products between individuals, announces the launch of the French V1 of its iPhone application. Initially developed in English, it is aimed at both consumers and creators, and gives access to nearly 15 million independent creations in limited edition.
French designers can create and publish new product sheets, adding photos, tags, delivery profiles, etc. They can also benefit from an algorithm of statistics on their store, check orders, and receive alerts as soon as a purchase is made in their store.
In addition to the possibility of consulting the product sheets in detail and selecting them as “favorites”, consumers can order directly from the application.
Etsy, wishing to “adapt to the French market”, offers in its application editorial content and video chats to support creators in the launch of their online stores (“how to create your business”, “how to distribute your products on Facebook “).
The French version of the Etsy App is available for free download in theITunes App Store.
Create and manage your website from your smartphone with LaCarte
LaCarte unveiled its website creation application from a smartphone at the Micro-Entreprises trade fair in Paris.
Targeting local professionals (traders, artisans, SMEs, self-employed entrepreneurs, etc.), LaCarte offers them the possibility of easily creating an internet showcase without any tool other than a mobile. Companies present their services, along with photos and a news feed on new products and / or promotions.
LaCarte wishes to offer a promotional tool that is simple and practical to use, while adding a geolocation service and a distribution feed for commercial offers in real time.
Taxyz, a new reservation service dedicated to Parisian taxis
Taxyz is a mobile taxi booking application in Paris. Launched in September 2012, it relies on a fleet of 125 cars and allows its users to locate a nearby taxi, order it, and once the order has been validated, monitor its progress towards the meeting point.
Unlike private driver services like Uber, SnapCar and many others, the service here relies on a fleet of already existing Parisian taxis, which can download the application free of charge to create their “Taxyz Driver” profile. They can thus optimize their working time without committing to a private service.
