Google propels Snapseed, the competing application of Instagram…. The application of urban discoveries Now gets richer…. Private Taxi, a new player in the online booking of private drivers…. Focus on three new applications.
Google powers Snapseed, Instagram’s competitor app
On September 18, Business Insider revealed the acquisition of the Snapseed application by Google. Published by the company Nik Software, the application presents itself as a competitor of Instagram and therefore allows users to apply filters and share their photos.
The Now urban discovery app is enriched
Launched by the French Ben Cera in New York, Now app allows you to discover the quirky and unexpected corners of a city. The application initially relies on Instagram photos posted around a location to recommend events to discover.
The start-up has just launched a new version. This is now available in major cities around the world and allows the community to directly share events.
Users therefore have the option of creating a profile and interacting with others by posting their own photos. Mobile users also have the option of filtering events by category and discovering the history of a specific region or place.
TaxiPrivé, a new player in the online booking of private drivers
After Uber, Snapcar, Private Driver or TaxiBeat, yet another player has just appeared on the private driver reservation market. This time it is the application Private Taxi. To try to get out of the game, the company offers a double service: the reservation of a private driver for a trip booked in advance and the reservation of a Parisian taxi for an immediate trip using geolocation.
TaxiPrivé also relies on a large fleet ranging from family minivans to sedans and motorcycles. Currently available in Paris, the iPhone application should extend its service throughout France and soon make its arrival on Google Play.
