The French Brainsonic, specialist in “content marketing”, raises 5 million euros

“We want to double our activity in the next three years”, explains to Frenchweb Jean-Louis Bénard, CEO of Brainsonic. To achieve this, this French company specializing in branded content has just raised 5 million euros from CM-CIC Capital Privé and Ardian Croissance, already present in the capital.

Founded in 2003, Brainsonic is both a digital strategy consulting agency and software publisher. To distinguish itself in the competitive market of digital agencies, the company has indeed developed its own tools such as the “Sociabble” cloud solution which is aimed at companies wishing to offer their employees to become their “ambassadors” on social networks. It also offers “Damdy”, a platform to manage branded content for companies. A market in which other players such as Scoopt.it are positioned with its B2B offers.

This new investment is intended to finance Brainsonic’s international development. Already having offices in Paris, London and New York, the company wants to strengthen its presence in the United States to market its two software. With regard to the agency activity, external growth operations are planned. In this context, Brainsonic, which currently has 150 employees, will also recruit around 30 additional employees.
