The French start-up Tempow crosses a course. It has just signed a partnership with Motorola. This first agreement with a smartphone manufacturer aims to integrate Tempow’s technology into the terminals of the group owned by the Chinese juggernaut Lenovo. For now, only the Motorola Moto X4, unveiled this week at the IFA in Berlin (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin), will integrate the technology of the young shoot accelerated in the United States by The Refiners. Other models will follow next year.
Founded in 2015 by Vincent Nallatamby, Thomas Girardier and Julien Goupy, Tempow was created with one goal: to connect all bluetooth speakers, regardless of their brand. After many twists and turns, the French start-up finally succeeded in the form of a mobile application. This allows you to centralize the control of bluetooth speakers of different brands on the same interface. “The laptop becomes capable of multi-streaming to all brands of devices», Summarizes Vincent Nallatamby, co-founder and CEO of Tempow.
New features and new partnerships in the pipeline
Now allied with Motorola, the company does not intend to stop there by winning new contracts by the end of the year. “We are in discussion with almost everyone», Assures Vincent Nallatamby.
To win over smartphone manufacturers, Tempow plans to launch new features. The company is working in particular on a real-time translation technology via bluetooth. This will allow users to program each wireless headset or headset to a different language. Thanks to Google Translate, the speeches of each speaker will be instantly translated into the language chosen by the other speakers. Tempow also plans to work with Smart TV players to customize the audio stream for TVs.
