Teleportd raises $ 1 million for its dedicated Instagram tool
Developed last July, the project Teleportd imagined by the two French people Gabriel Hubert and Stanislas Polu consists in giving more meaning to the flood of photos posted by Internet and mobile users.
Concretely Teleportd has focused on three main verticals: brands, events and media. The start-up thus aims to give more value to public photos, by organizing them, so that the professionals concerned can optimize their re-use.
In total, the tandem has therefore entered into various partnerships with around fifteen online photo platforms. Among them : Twitter, Instagram, Foursquare or even Flickr and Path to name a few.
Among these partnerships, the one forged with Instagram has taken on more importance. Indeed, Teleportd officially launched last October an analytics solution dedicated to Instagram. Baptized Nitrogram, the tool is presented as a marketing platform dedicated to brands, so that they can analyze the impact of the photos they publish on the social network. The end goal is to identify influencers and engage Internet users more.
The funds raised should therefore allow the start-up to further develop this new tool, the user base of which would grow by 20% per week. According to the co-founders, the service already counts among its customers 4 of the 10 most influential brands on Instagram.
The young shoot was particularly known to The Web London when she qualified for the final of the Startup Competition. The start-up had already raised nearly € 100,000 from Seedcamp and various business angels.
