Studapart plays on the network effect to accommodate students

The month of September marks the start of the search for student apartments. To help them, the start-up Studapart offers higher education schools a white label platform from which their students can search for accommodation. “In each school, the students who leave have the accommodations that those who arrive. The interest of this platform is therefore to make this connection», Explains to Frenchweb Amaury Roland, the co-founder.

The goal is that a student does not find himself in competition with students from other schools, which happens on large portals like SeLoger, LeBonCoin or PAP“. The interface also integrates various options, in particular to create a colocation. Administrators, for their part, have access to usage statistics.

Forty client schools

Founded in 2013, Studapart today has around forty schools using its solution, including the Skema Business School or the Grenoble School of Management. In the end, they represent 100,000 students. “One month after setting up the platform in a school, 30 to 40% of students are using it,” says Amaury Roland.

To remunerate itself, Studapart markets its offer with the sale of an annual user license to schools. She also approaches groups of student residences. The company has set itself the goal of reaching between 100 and 120 schools within a year, and of preparing, from 2017, for international deployment.
