StarDust raises 800,000 euros and wants to rely on professional beta testers

Stardust, website and mobile application tester, announces a fundraising of 800,000 euros from its historical investors and four new business angels present in the management of the company. Among them, Alain Tibault (Julhiet Sterwen), Bruno Debatisse (Legrand), Walter Jaconnelli.

Created in 2011 in Marseille, Stardust offers a crowdtesting solution allowing a product to evolve thanks to the recommendations of the community which plays the role of “beta-tester”. Among its customers, the Française des Jeux, to test its online games, or Danone, L’Oréal. Based in France and Canada, she said to realize “20% of its turnover outside France“.

“We are positioned in a market with very strong potential. From now on, no company – whatever its size – can afford to launch an online product or service that is not perfectly mastered under penalty of deteriorating the user experience and therefore consequently a loss of turnover ” , explains François-Joseph Viallon, CEO and co-founder of StarDust.

With this first fundraising, Stardust intends to recruit to strengthen its international presence.
