Spotify gets into Ford cars

The Spotify music streaming service will now be compatible with Ford’s Sync AppLink, which allows mobile applications to be connected with the in-vehicle multimedia system of the American manufacturer.

Spotify will be available in all Ford cars equipped from next month in the United States, then later this year in Europe. Subscribed drivers will find all the usual features of Spotify, such as access to their library or thematic radios and will be able to control the application thanks to the voice commands of the Sync AppLink.

Spotify thus joins other music applications already present on this platform such as Pandora or the Amazon Cloud Player.
