SoLoMoCo, a company specializing in Mobile Internet announces a second investment of 610,000 euros in the company Tekora SAS. The business incubator which co-invests with Business Angels or venture capital funds in innovative start-ups takes a significant stake in the publisher of a Saas-mode platform for the creation of sites and services for mobile phones.
Tekora offers a complete online mobile CMS service including the tools, technology, hosting (Saas rental mode) to quickly create, manage and deploy a website for
mobile phones and smartphones. Among the 150 references of Tekora: Bouygues telecom, Peugeot, Pages Jaunes, Ratp, Rip Curl, 3 Suisses, La Poste, Loréal… The solution is also available in white label.
Founded in 2001 by Loïc Le Meur then sold to Philippe CoupJambet, the current CEO, Tekora generates more than 30% of its turnover internationally and claims more than 50,000 online mobile sites created using its technology. The company is based in Paris and New York.
Minh Q Tranh, CEO of SoLoMoCo: “We are convinced that Tekora’s niche will allow us to launch into Mobile Commerce by next year”. In fact, a new version of Tekora’s CMS will be available in September. The m-commerce service will follow in December.
