Shortways has just raised 500,000 euros from the Pays de la Loire Développement fund (managed by Sodero Gestion), the IDEE fund (co-investment fund of the Pays de la Loire Regional Council advised by Siparex), Bpifrance and business angels. The company wishes to take advantage of this new investment to strengthen its commercial development and R&D.

“It is also an opportunity to surround ourselves with professionals from the world of enterprise software who will help us to register Shortways in the changes in this field strongly challenged by new cloud players” comments Viet-Toan Nguyen, CEO of Shortways.

Founded in 2011, the company publishes software for businesses. Its main offer, Shortcuts, is presented as a visual assistant to optimize the use of business applications such as Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or even SugarCRM, in order to facilitate procedures and access to information between users.

For example, it is possible to carry out searches in several databases, to view the most sought-after items, or to “distribute consolidation and reporting instructions directly to SAP BFC, Oracle Hyperion, Microsoft Excel, IBM TM1”.

Based in Laval, in Mayenne, and made up of a team of 5 people, Shortways claims major accounts among its clients including Sodexo, Total and Transdev. It markets its SaaS solutions with three distinct offers, the prices of which vary according to the functionalities and the number of users.
