SFR: Bouygues offers 11.4 billion cash, 500 million euros more than Numéricable

Bouygues’ board of directors validated an increase in the offer made by the group for the acquisition of SFR, with 11.4 billion euros and 46% of the new group, which values ​​SFR at 14.5 billion d ‘euros. Numéricable’s offer is 10.9 billion euros in cash and 32% of the capital. Patrick Drahi of Altice-Numericable does not wish to make any new offer.

A first committee will meet today at Vivendi, and will be followed tomorrow by a supervisory board in order to study the various proposals. Vivendi has not said its last word and may aim for an IPO of SFR.
