[Septembre 2012] The Silicon Valley Blogger Bus Tour

In 2 weeks, 13 bloggers from France, Australia, England, Romania and even China will fly to San Francisco for a 6-day tour bus, at the invitation of Orange. From September 17 to 22, they will try to capture the mood and trends of Silicon Valley in Facebook’s post-IPO time.

What’s new in social networks, mobility and geolocation? Is the Valley experiencing a new period of creativity in terms of innovation or is it on the decline? To answer these questions, awaits them a busy program of visits and meetings of high places of the Valley as well as “hot startups”.

Organizer of this tour and himself a blogger, Yann Gourvennec, Director of web communication and social media at Orange will be surrounded by a few international and hexagonal figures (including Eric Dupin – Presse Citron, Xavier de Mazenod – Zevillage).

On the menu for the 6 days, among others, visits to: Adobe, HP Labs, Trend Micro, RocketSpace, Swipp, Flipboard, Eventbrite, Kwarter, Socialcam … Enough to glean information on the secrets of successful startups and inspired investors, lifestyles of the Internet world of Silicon Valley, all in a multimedia and international vision.
