Beyond the sales of hardware terminals, also hides the war of operating systems. In this context, Android will equip 1.37 billion of devices purchased – tablets and mobiles – in 2015, against 301 million for Apple’s iOS and 373 million for Windows.
In total, global sales of devices – PCs, tablets, ultramobiles, and mobiles – are expected to increase 4.2% in 2014 to 2.4 billion units sold.
