The TBS Discovery drone, presented yesterday by Raphael Pirker of the Team BlackSheep on the occasion of LeWeb Paris 2012, is surely the object which caught the audience’s attention the most.

The object, remotely piloted by its user who sees what is happening from glasses connected to a camera mounted on the drone itself, contains four propellers posted at the end of its “legs” as well as a support for a GoPro camera. The TBS Discovery can fly between 8 and 15 minutes depending on how it is configured. It can climb to nearly 2,500 meters above sea level and go up to 80km / h. Count nearly $ 1000 for this mini helicopter.

A version, more expensive ($ 2000) but faster and more autonomous, is also offered by Team BlackSheep. It is sold piece by piece and must be assembled by its buyer.
