Results at half mast for Bouygues Telecom in 2013

The Bouygues group has just announced the results of its subsidiary Bouygues Telecom in 2013 with a turnover of 3.5 billion euros over the first nine months, down 13% compared to the same period in 2012. Listed Ebitda is no better, it stands at 727 million euros over the first nine months of the year (-80 million euros compared to the previous year). However, the 3rd quarter recorded a reversal with an increase of 10 million euros compared to 2012. Bouygues Telecom has achieved 455 million euros in savings on Mobile costs since the end of 2011

In terms of subscribers, the total B & YOU customer base reached 1,634,000 customers at the end of September 2013, up 610,000 new customers over the first nine months of 2013. The Fixed-rate customer base grew by 332,000 customers over the first nine months of the year and stands at 9,760,000. The total Mobile fleet is 11,094,000 customers

In the Fixed Broadband market, Bouygues Telecom acquired 95,000 new customers over the first nine months of the year for a total fleet of 1,941,000 at the end of September 2013.

Finally, 500,000 customers are now active on the operator’s 4G network.
