The amount

TheBrussels software publisher Proxyclick announces a fundraising of 3 million euros. This investment was led by JOIN Capital.

The market

Founded in 2010 by Grégory Blondeau and Laurent Parmentier, Proxyclick has developed a business reception application. The platform adds directly from the electronic diary the name of the people invited during a meeting. As soon as they arrive at the premises, visitors check in on an iPad to notify them of their presence. A text, email or Slack or Skype message is sent to alert team members.

Besides this alert tool, the application offers other functionalities. Team members can receive their visitors’ photos, send them the WiFi code by SMS or have them print a badge. Further updates to the app are in progress. They should in particular allow facial recognition on simple presentation of an identity card in order to validate the person’s identity. A marketplace, a sort of App Store, is also in preparation to be able to interface the application more easily with tools such as Salesforce or Slack.

Proxyclick claims 10 million organized visits and counts among its customers Airbnb, which uses the service in San Francisco within its parent company, or Sodexo. The company is present in around fifty countries.

The goal

With this investment, Proxyclick wishes to accelerate its commercial development. “We realize that there is a very strong global demand»Says Grégory Blondeau, president and founder of the company. “We want to develop our marketing and sales strategy“, He continues, specifying that the company was self-financing.
