Kantar Media publishes the latest figures for advertising investments, the advertising network InMobi publishes the first edition of its “Mobile Insights Report” study dedicated to France, launch of a study on Saas tools… Details of three studies.
1.7% increase for online advertising in Q1 2012
According to the latest figures published by Kantar Media, advertising investments recorded a slight increase of 2.8% in the first quarter of 2012. In this context, only television recorded above-average growth (+ 7.4%) and thus contributed 88% to the overall increase plurimedia.
In terms of online investments, Internet display recorded a modest increase of 1.7% over the period studied, reaching € 737 million. The media portfolio nevertheless underlines double-digit sector growth for the automotive sector (+ 13.7%), services (+ 10.4%), distribution (+ 63%) or even beauty hygiene (+36 , 2%).
20% increase in mobile impressions in Q1 2012
The advertising agency InMobi published yesterday the first edition of its study “Mobile Insights Report” dedicated to France, for the quarter ended in March 2012. The study notably highlights a 20% increase in mobile impressions in the space of 90 days on the InMobi network in France, which thus totals 3.3 billion impressions .
In detail, Android confirms its first place in the French market with 40.5% of shares, but iOS reduced the gap by 9 points. Apple also signs 3 devices in the top 10 phones, capturing 35% of the share of total impressions made from phones.
Alice Henry, head of sales France at InMobi, comments: “Our study also shows that the mobile web is the source of 62% of all impressions. “In-app” advertising has it recorded a growth of 49% in the first quarter of 2012 ″
