The start-up Bim, which offers last-minute reservations at high-end restaurants, has partnered with Uber. Started by Anne-Christelle Pérochon, the application allows you to view the tables that incurred the cost of a last minute cancellation, to reserve them instantly and to pay the bill without having to take out the bank card. From reservation to payment, everything is done from the application.
Its partnership with Uber will allow Bim users to order an Uber without having to leave the application interface. Once the user has reserved a table on the application, he can click on the “Go by Uber” icon for a driver from the VTC platform to take him to the chosen restaurant. This new feature will be operational from February 13th.
The start-up Whisperies, which brings together authors, illustrators and fans of children’s stories, has completed an initial funding round of 580,000 euros with the Jeremie Innovation 2 fund, advised by the management company Sofimac Partners. With this first fundraising, Whisperies plans to finance its growth and continue its research and development program aimed at improving the user experience. In this context, the start-up plans to strengthen its workforce. “This partnership will allow us to invest to optimize our technology, increase the number of readers and accelerate the achievement of our commercial strategy.», Explains Adeline Fradet, co-founder and president of Whisperies.
