Octime gets its hands on Mapotempo to help companies save time

The Béarn group Octime-Spec, specialized in time management solutions, access control and human resources planning, announced the acquisition of the start-up Pau Mapotempo. The latter publishes mapping and route optimization software. The financial terms of the transaction have not been specified.

Founded in 1999, Octime has gradually become a major player in the time management and planning market. To strengthen itself and set sail internationally, the group based in Biron, near Orthez (Pyrénées-Atlantiques) bought in 2015 the company Spec, established in the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal and Latin America. , in Africa and the Middle East.

18 million euros in turnover in 2016

By seizing Mapotempo, Octime thus consolidates its position in terms of time and schedule management. Founded in 2012, the start-up housed in the Hélioparc de Pau technopole has developed route mapping and optimization solutions for personal assistance services, food wholesalers and e-commerce delivery people.

To date, Octime claims more than 8,000 French sites equipped, reaching more than 800,000 users on a daily basis. In 2016, Octime-Spec recorded a turnover of 18 million euros, up 15%. The group headed by Guillaume Berbinau has 150 employees, including 65 in France.
