edjing, the application that lets you mix from a smartphone, launches a new, more integrated and optimized version for Deezer, the French streaming music platform, with which a partnership was established in 2012 for access to titles.
“In 2012 edjing and Deezer had the ambition to innovate in the field of musical mix. The bet has been successful since today with the launch of this new version, we are offering users the opportunity to once again enrich their mixing experiences ”explains Jean-Baptiste Hironde, president of edjing.
18 million downloads
From now on, users will be able to use a larger catalog of songs, with access to 30 million songs, and will have access to Deezer’s recommendation tools (top charts, selections and thematic radios). The update of the application also establishes a social network, “edjing world”, to promote the sharing of mixes and creations between users and a “global search” function, to find a title in a multitude of catalogs (Deezer, SoundCloud…).
Launched in 2012, edjing is a DJ application on mobile and smartphone. Available on iOS and Android, it claims more than 18 million downloads worldwide. In September 2013, the French company had raised 2 million euros with Entrepreneur Venture, Daniel Marhely, the founder of Deezer, and private investors.
