Montpellier residents of Kaliop raise 2 million and target the American market

The amount

The Kaliop group, a specialist in the digital transformation of businesses, which notably develops mobile applications and Web services, has announced a fundraising of 2 million euros from BNP Paribas and Sofilaro, a regional private equity company of the Crédit Agricole group .

The Montpellier-based group is building on good results, with a turnover of 10 million euros. In 2014, the Kaliop group had a turnover of 5.9 million euros.

The market

To stand out in a very competitive market where digital consulting agencies compete, Kaliop claims “a disruptive offer based on a methodology and industrial know-how”. At the end of 2014, Kaliop bought the agency So on, one of its competitors specializing in e-commerce services (consulting, design, development, etc.)

The objectives of the Start-up

With this lifting, Kaliop also intends to pursue its external growth through new acquisitions. It will also open several recruitments. “We can now initiate our new growth strategy which will allow us to establish ourselves over the long term as one of the market leaders in Europe and North America,” indicates Pierre Deniset, President of Kaliop. The company, which employs around 100 people, is already present in Poland, England and Australia.
