Pradeo, a company that publishes security software for smartphones and tablets in businesses, has just finalized a first fundraising of 1 million euros. The tour de table welcomes in particular the private equity company Soridec, regional business angels as well as a Marseille fund.
Based in Montpellier, the start-up created in 2010 by Clément Saad develops software intended to secure a company’s mobile terminals. The company, which today has around ten employees, counts among its key clients: the Ministry of the Interior, Crédit Agricole and Orchestra.
As mentioned Free noon, Pradeo also offers a solution offering network administrators the possibility of analyze the security of applications downloaded by company employees.
Thanks to this capital increase, the company intends to develop its commercial activities and prepare for its internationalization. The company also plans to expand its teams over the coming months and thus double its workforce.
This fundraising is finally coupled with a subsidy granted by the Ministry of Research (after having won the competition twice), which will be allocated for investments in R&D.
