[Jeudi] The TEDx Panthéon Sorbonne: “The New Century of Enlightenment”
The next edition of TEDx France will take place on Thursday 8 November in the Grand Amphithéâtre of the Sorbonne. Organized by the Sweet Shark International association, in collaboration with the University of Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and the support of Samsung Electronics, the event will have as its theme “The New Century of Enlightenment”.
New technologies, self-development, and collaborative work will be approached by nearly 15 speakers, including Simon Rogers (data journalist specialist at the Guardian), Anthony Salcito (vice president of Microsoft Education world), and Seth Cooper (creator of Fold-It).
Nearly 800 people are expected for this conference day.
[Vendredi] GDG Nantes organizes the DevFest Nantes 2012
The GDG Nantes association (Google Developer Group) is organizing the DevFest Nantes 2012, a day of conferences around Google and Web technologies (Android, Chrome, Google Drive SDK or Codelab Androîd).
The event will take place on November 9 at the premises of Epitech in Nantes and will offer conferences (with around fifteen speakers) and codelabs throughout the day.
[Vendredi] AppDays Paris: 14 conferences to get started on the mobile
The conference AppDays Paris is an event entirely dedicated to creators of mobile applications.
The conference, which will take place on November 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the UIC-P Espace Congrès, will feature 14 presentations on the themes of creation, development, design, and even mobile monetization. Among the speakers, we find Jérémie Francone (Nuage Touch), Jules Minvielle (Surikate), David Catuhe (Microsoft) and many more.
Nearly 200 participants are expected for the event.
