Mobile advertising: Sync closes a first funding round of 2 million euros

The amount

The French start-up Sync, which is developing a mobile advertising synchronization solution, has just raised 2 million euros from the funds Idinvest Partners and Entrepreneur Venture. On this occasion, Benoist Grossmann, Managing Partner of Idinvest Partners, joins the Board of Directors of Sync. This is the first round of funding for the company, which was founded a year ago. In parallel with this lifting, Sync announced that it had obtained the patent for its Sync2AD solution.

The market

Founded in the summer of 2015, Sync pioneered new bounce-back technology on mobile advertising. Called Sync2AD, it is capable of recognizing sound to synchronize in real time with the Web, mobile, a tablet or even a movie. This concept thus offers brands the possibility of enriching the advertising message on the second screen to more easily reach their audience.

This device allows advertisers to launch targeted and personalized campaigns based on consumer behavior. Among its customers, Sync counts Gillette, Canal +, Kiabi and Dunlop.

The objectives of the Start-up

This first round of funding should allow Sync to finance the development of Sync2AD. “This investment allows us to develop more quickly our programmatic synchronization offer for our customers.», Specifies Laurant Weill, co-founder of Sync.
