RNTS Media continues shopping. The German group specializing in the monetization of mobile audiences announces that it has acquired the entire capital of the Israeli start-up Inneractive for 46 million dollars (approximately 42.3 million euros), to which is added an “earn-out” of 26 million dollars. The transaction should be completed during the second quarter of 2016.
Based in Tel Aviv, Inneractive is developing a ad exchange mobile advertising for formats display, video or native. The company, which has 76 employees, claims reach an audience of 630 million monthly active users, including 33% on iOS, 65% on Android and 2% on other mobile operating systems. On the financial level, Inneractive would have generated 43.2 million dollars of sales in 2015 and would be profitable.
Acquisition of Heyzap in January
Following this transaction, Ziv Elul, CEO of Inneractive, joins the board of directors of RNTS Media. “With the acquisition of Inneractive, RNTS Media will considerably increase the number of users on its platforms and the addressable audience for the group’s advertising partners,” [et] broaden its range of advertising formats (…) ”, explains the company in its press release.
The announcement comes as RNTS Media, which owns the company Fyber, specializing in mobile advertising, in January acquired the American company Heyzap for more than $ 20 million.
