Station F, inaugurated on June 29, welcomes more than 1000 young shoots, within 34,000 square meters of the former Halle Freyssinet, transfigured after three years of work to become thehe largest start-up campus in the world.
Large companies are also involved in the project, via their corporate incubators, such as Facebook or Microsoft. In total, 21 acceleration programs will coexist there. That of Microsoft is dedicated to artificial intelligence, as we mentioned in our columns last June.
Future French champions of Artificial Intelligence
“Stimulate the emergence of French champions of artificial intelligence”, this is the vocation claimed by Microsoft within its program AI Factory. Seven start-ups, already recognized on the market, made their re-entry in September at Station F.
What are the axes of this support program? Tight mentoring, hosting for one year in the Microsoft space at Station F, support for researchers from Microsoft and Inria (National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation), access to the BizSpark Plus program as well as advice on promotion and marketing of their solutions as part of a co-marketing and co-selling process.
