by bold-lichterman

Microsoft has released its quarterly results for its fiscal year ended September 30:

  • turnover, which now includes that of Nokia, reached 23.2 billion dollars, up 25% over one year;
  • turnover generated by the activity of Nokia alone, integrated for the first time in Microsoft’s accounts, represents 2.6 billion dollars. If this sum is not taken into account, Microsoft’s turnover has increased by 11%;
  • gross margin stands at $ 14.9 billion, up 12%;

These results were notably driven by the firm’s cloud activities, which Satya Nadella has made one of its priorities. Without disclosing the revenues generated by this segment, quarterly revenues grew by 128% thanks to Office 365, Azure or Dynamics CRM, according to the figures released.
