[Médiamétrie] French website traffic in June 2012
Médiamétrie has just published the latest figures relating to the audience of French internet sites and groups last June. This month, the study is accompanied by a focus on website traffic according to mobile operating systems.
The analysis highlights in particular that Android has overtaken Apple’s mobile operating system – iOS – since March 2012 and now represents more than one out of two mobile accesses. In number of visits, Android would thus have increased by 29% between the months of January and June.
By way of comparison, in audience share, Apple’s mobile operating system fell from 52.5% to 36% between the months of January and June 2012, a decrease of 38%.
At the same time, if Windows Phone only represents 2.1% of audience share, it still recorded the strongest growth over the period studied, with an increase of 25%.
In terms of ranking, the Yellow Pages Group comes in 1st position with 77M visits. Then we find the Lagardère Active group with its 70.2M visits, then the Skyrock group with 62.2M visits recorded. The Hi-Media group and the M6 Group, for their part, come in 4th and 5th position with 58.6 and 46.4M respective visits.
As for the ranking of sites, we find Pages Jaunes, Skyrock, Jeuxvidéo.com, Doctissimo and Clubic in the first 5 positions.
