Made in Pays Basque Rezto the 24h of cross border innovation
Flora Bonnard

Hello Flore, tell us about your Rezto platform

Rezto is a digital platform that centralizes all the useful information of restaurants, with reliable customer reviews and a real valuation of their work and know-how. It’s a digital network that brings restaurants closer to their customers!

What was the main problem faced by restaurateurs before Rezto?

When I meet a restaurateur who paid 3600 € for a website on which their opening hours do not even appear, When I count the time spent publishing news on general social networks where we get lost in the crowd or the scandal of false customer reviews, it was obvious to me to create Rezto.

Rezto, killer-app from TripAdvisor and TheFork? How far do you want to go?

We allowed the existence of false reviews to settle in, the marketing of packages that allow you to change the order of publication of customer reviews, the exorbitant commissions billed to restaurateurs for online reservations… and I don’t understand why .

It is up to us to react. We have set up a blockchain, which will allow us to register customer reviews. In this way our integrity will be indisputable since what is there is immutable. Our “mission” is to restore confidence. An example of a useful dialogue: the possibility of leaving a public comment and a private comment in order to re-establish a form of fair exchange.

We allow restaurants to name their producers, to provide precise information on access to reduced mobility or their adaptability to specific dietary requirements. Our line of differentiation is quite clear!

Where is it today?

We presented our services at the Equip’hôtel trade fair in Paris and we were comfortable with our proposal. Rezto brings together stars in the brigade at the 10-seat restaurant run by a single person. From Lille to Saint Jean d’Arvey or Bayonne, everyone is concerned. Taking a photo of the receipt to attest to the customer experience is very reassuring. Centralization and ease of use pleasantly surprised restaurateurs who like to focus on the essential.

We are therefore in the customer acquisition phase. We have a good starting point in New Aquitaine, but also in the Lille region or Brittany. Our goal is to offer our service to the whole of France, as quickly as we can.

How to find out more about you and the platform? :

www.rezto.net is online and you can already visit our site and download our app to discover the restaurants that trust us and share a relationship of trust with their customers!
