The selection of events not to be missed this month: an overview of the news of the Grenoble digital ecosystem with Deborah Donnier.

In-Pact will digitize the charter business

Established in Saint-Quentin Fallavier (38) for 3 years, In-Pact brings together transport companies and manufacturers with freight forwarding needs. The company, which helps manufacturers organize their transport, is also developing a digital application that will help digitize the aging charter business. The application will be able in a few minutes to offer a transport solution depending on the availability of carriers and market prices. A service which will be operational at the end of 2018 and which will make up for the lack of charterers in France and abroad.

Jérôme Gras and Cyril Dalla-Mura

Déborah Donnier, FrenchWeb correspondent: How would you define your market today?

Jérôme Gras, director of the company: Atomized and ultra-competitive. It is an aging and opaque sector. Its players do not see the “digital shift” coming, everything has remained very traditional.

What need does your service meet?

We organize our customers’ transport by purchasing space available in the trucks of our referenced carriers. We respond to a need for responsiveness, fair prices, simplicity and transparency in subcontracting prices.

What’s your value proposition?

The Transport Solution in 3 clicks, 15 minutes, and at market price.

Who are the users of your solution?

Our target is exclusively BtoB

Our “subcontractor” users are all carriers and our “client” users are all manufacturers who have a good / product to transport, wholesalers and importers of goods and merchandise.

Who are your competitors?

We mainly have in front of us Fretlink, Everoad and Chronotruck

What is your development plan?

On paper, we want to reach a turnover of 10 Million € in 5 years, with a team of 20 people. But if our activity works according to our expectations, this forecast will be much higher!
