LiveTrekker: new multimedia logbook
The French company Trekea recently launched a new iPhone application called Livetrekker. Dedicated to globetrotters, this application allows you to explore your journeys like a real logbook, and to organize your journey, by adding photographs, videos, comments and sounds. The idea is to offer a multimedia panorama of his career.
All this information can also be shared directly on the site. LiveTrekker or on social networks.
The application also allows all lived experiences to be stored in the cloud. Free to download, Livetrekker is based on a freemium model.
Co-founded by Jean-Marc DeBaud, the Parisian start-up recently completed a first funding round of € 1.3 million with Geofinance.
Printic: photo printing in just a few clicks
The Printic app presents itself as a new print-on-demand service. Designed by Florent Malbranche, the application does not present any major innovation but tends to stand out from its competitors, such as Polagram, Popcarte or even InstaPrint, by its ease of use, the quality of the photos and its single price.
Concretely, the mobile user first chooses a photo from his iPhone film, his Facebook or Instagram account. The application then allows you to apply a filter, crop the snapshot and add a personalized message. The user only has to select his recipients.
Emphasis is also placed on the quality of the print, produced using traditional silver processes in 8x10cm format.
With a vintage dimension, the start-up sends all the photos in a small tattooed orange envelope.
Each print is sold for € 0.79 and shipping costs are free. Printic ensures that the images are delivered within 3 days in mainland France.
Free, the application is currently only available on the App Store.
Europe 1 check, new second screen application
In partnership with Lagardère Publicité, Europe 1 has just launched a new second screen functionality within its application. Baptized, Europe 1 Check, it allows listeners to access additional content, via real-time synchronization between the radio media and a smartphone or tablet.
Available since December 11, this new option therefore allows mobile phones and tablets to be connected to the radio stream: the application synchronizes with the advertising (or editorial content) broadcast on air.
According to Yannick Lacombe, Deputy Managing Director Marketing and Strategy of Lagardère Publicité, Europe 1 check aims to strengthen “the attention and commitment of listeners to brands, by giving advertisers the possibility of orchestrating enriched experiences. “
