The World Innovation and New Technologies Show (CES: the Consumer Electronics Show) took place this year across the Atlantic in Las Vegas from January 6 to 9. 120 French start-ups flew to America, including ten Girondins spotted among others by the La Poste group, and the Engie group (supplier of electricity and natural gas).
The Bordeaux CCI and Digital Aquitaine have coached a dozen local start-ups for three months in order to help them show their potential during the show. Easy parking, which indicates the free places in the city and allows their reservation through the mobile application, Gablys, which through connected objects allows you to lock your belongings, and Iq Spot, which informs residents of connected buildings to monitor their energy consumption. Wiidii allows you to find good plans and all the practical information of a city while Tamaplace allows you to work remotely in a confidential manner. As for Projet Pratic, the team is developing an artificial intelligence platform.
All the selected start-ups did not have the chance to exhibit but were nevertheless present to make themselves known: NFC Interactive which develops software applications, Brainify, a tool for managing web marketing activities for e-merchants, jestocke.com, rental of furniture storage between individuals, and finally Private Pressing, laundry service delivered within 48 hours for individuals or businesses in Bordeaux.
A great opportunity for all these companies to develop internationally and find new global investors, as well as to highlight the talents of Bordeaux.
