The American Fingerprint completed a second fundraising round from private investors, including Dreamworks and Korean Top Media, for an amount of $ 10.85 million. In August 2012, Fingerprint had already raised $ 7.75 million from its historic investor Corus.

Fingerprint publishes iOS and Android mobile games and educational applications, in play-and-learn, via mobile networks that it designs under its own brand, or for customers, including Samsung. Founded in San Francisco in July 2010 by Nancy MacIntyre, current CEO of the company, and Daniel Klaus, the company says it has introduced more than 600 new apps and 50 ebooks by December.

“Children aged 1 to 8 go online almost two hours a day, according to Common Sense Media. And the Kaiser Family Foundation says children ages 8 to 18 spend an average of almost eight hours a day on devices. By understanding how children interact with technology, we create safe and trusting experiences with partners respected by families ”explains Nancy MacIntyre, co-founder.
