Kobojo wants to find new talent and is raising $ 7 million.

The video game editor Kojobo has just raised a new $ 7 million fundraising round from Oxford Capital Partners, its historic investor Endeavor Vision, and the Scottish Investment Bank. The operation was managed by BluePrint Partners

Initially specializing in the development of social games on Facebook and mobile like Goobox and PyramidVille, the company has subsequently distinguished itself for its hand-drawn 2D graphics. Kobojo created and currently operates the hit game Mutants.

The company has around forty employees, after having recorded nearly 2.5 million euros in turnover in 2013 with a loss of nearly 3.5 million euros the company raised the bar in 2014 with a turnover of 5.3 million euros and losses reduced to 500,000 euros. Kobojo had already realized a first funding round of 5.3 million euros with Endeavor Vision Capital and IDInvest.

The purpose of this round table is to support the development of the Zodiac role-playing game, in particular to strengthen the Studio teams.

Kobojo grew up as a developer of mainstream social media and mobile games. The studio is now establishing itself as a creator of AAA titles, and surrounds itself with some of the greatest talents on the planet ”, declares Mario Rizzo, CEO of Kobojo.
