Klaxoon tackles boredom in meetings

by bold-lichterman

Klaxoon wants to wake up employees in company meetings. This start-up, developed within the Regards group in Rennes, markets a platform whose ambition is to boost teamwork. Employees can chat via instant messaging, easily exchange documents, but also create quizzes or polls on a particular topic in order to appreciate internal feedback.

“The challenge of Klaxoonis to engage the audience, to ensure that people are involved and participate more ”, explains to Frenchweb Matthieu Beucher, the founder. Objective: that all employees express themselves and thus pass on good ideas. “Many of our customers use Klaxoon as a brainstormHe continues.

10,000 users

The solution works in the cloud and each user keeps their own hardware – smartphone, tablet or computer. To go further, the start-up has also developed a box connecting up to forty participants, especially if there is no Wi-Fi network. Other start-ups, such as Wisembly, are also positioning themselves in this market.

Launched in March 2014, Klaxoon, which targets large companies and SMEs, already claimed 10,000 users in 67 countries six months after its launch (in particular thanks to customers of the Regards group, specializing in HR and business solutions). The start-up aims to achieve 10 million euros in turnover within two years. More details with Matthieu Beucher, the founder of Klaxoon.
