Candy Crush has become the most popular game on Facebook with 45 million users and 15 million daily active players.

King.com, the publisher of the famous social game Candy Crush Saga, is reportedly planning to go public. On June 18, the Wall Street Journal revealed that the publisher had just hired banks to help it prepare its IPO in the United States. For now, no amount has been released, and the exact introduction date is still unknown.

Founded in 2003, King.com has offices in London, Hamburg, Stockholm and San Fransisco. His social game Candy Crush Saga, which involves lining up at least three similar items to make them disappear from the screen, is attracting more and more addicted users.

With 45 million users and more than 32 million fans on its official page, Candy Crush has become the most popular game on Facebook: more than 15 million Internet users play it daily on the social network. The mobile version of Candy Crush Saga is no exception, and occupies 2nd place in the ranking of the most popular free games on the App Store.

A success that contrasts with the recent setbacks of Zynga, the main competitor of King.com, which has just laid off 18% of its workforce, and whose stock market share fell 12%.
