Isybot raises 2 million euros to extend its collaborative robots in Europe

by bold-lichterman

Isybot, specializing in the design of robots to automate business tasks, raises 2 million euros from Karot Capital, Calao Finance and Socomore Ventures. This is the second round of the French startup.

Launched in 2016 by Yvan Measson, Isybot designs and markets robots to automate arduous tasks in business. These collaborative robots (or cobots) work with employees and in particular help protect them from possible health problems. Indeed, these robots are designed to carry heavy loads and perform the most repetitive gestures.

“The interest of the collaborative robot is to be able to work with human operators and to adapt to a wide variety of tasks », Comments Yvan Measson, CEO of Isybot. The startup counts among its clients large French groups like SNCF, Safran, Airbus and Dassault Aviation.

As part of this fundraising, Isybot aims in particular to develop its network of international customers and extend its range of collaborative robots. ” Building on real technical and commercial success in France, the strengthening of our own funds will allow us to deploy our machines in Europe and to take a prominent place in the heavy load cobot market. », Continues Yvan Measson.
