Instagram continues its transformation on the web

A few months after propelling the “Profile” pages on the web, Instagram announced yesterday, in a blog post, a major update for its web service.

The “profile” pages are now interactive and allow Internet users to follow their news feed directly from a web browser. After logging into, members can therefore like, by a double click, and comment on photos from this same browser.

Instagram is therefore seeking to model its web application on its mobile application. The only difference is that Instagram aficionados will still not be able to share their photos from a computer, Instagram wanting to preserve its identity initially dedicated to mobile use.
