A new page opens for NetBooster. The group has just announced its plan to merge with Artifact, digital agency specializing in artificial intelligence and smart data. The transaction will result in an exchange of shares which will allow the executives of Artefact to become the majority shareholders of NetBooster. The latter will contribute their shares in kind to NetBooster, which will issue 6.9 million new securities for the benefit of Artefact shareholders.
The new entity aims to place artificial intelligence at the center of the digital marketing strategies of the two agencies. “We believe together that artificial intelligence will increase the efficiency of our businesses and allow advertisers to better define their marketing and digital strategy. This set, which will have nearly a thousand employees around the world, is an example of the integration of technology in the advertising professions.“, Explain Francois de la Villardière, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of NetBooster. In 2016, NetBooster recorded a turnover of 140 million euros.

The Parisian start-up The regulars, which has developed a mobile application for local shops, announces that it has completed a round of funding for an amount of 1.2 million euros with private investors. The mobile application allows local store customers to create an account with their favorite merchants, through which they benefit from advantages “reserved for regulars”. They can thus pay for their purchases via the application, but also collect their order without queuing in the store, or benefit from exclusive gifts.
From the merchant’s point of view, the application is accompanied by a payment and collection tool, as well as a customer knowledge tool. Free for individuals, businesses have the choice between different subscription packages, ranging from 29 euros per month to 79 euros per month.
The health information specialist Doctissimo announces the takeover of Animalbox, which has developed a box offer for dog and cat owners. Since 2015, Doctissimo has in fact developed a new section, dedicated to animals, which it wishes to strengthen thanks to this acquisition. More generally, this buyout is part of Lagardère Active’s strategy to strengthen its position in e-commerce and digital subscription, based on its media audiences.
“Thanks to this acquisition, Doctissimo will add a new twist to its digital expertise, generate new sources of income and offer its audience a new service. The acquisition of Animalbox marks a new step in our strategy of diversifying sources of income. ”, highlighted Fabien Sfez, president of Doctissimo.
The giants of the American Tech, GAFAM in the lead, keep the first places of the ranking of the Most Valuable Brands in 2017 by WPP and Kantar Millward Brown. Among the 7 brands that made their entry into the ranking this year, we find tech companies such as YouTube, Salesforce, Netflix and Snapchat.
The 4G connection speed is fastest in Singapore, at 45.62 Mbps (Megabits per seconds, editor’s note), followed by South Korea (43.46 Mbps) and Hungary (42, 61 (Mbps), according to OpenSignal data taken from Statista. France ranks 34th, with a connection speed of 24.15 Mbps.
